Setting Up
A Character Sheet

Like every self-respecting DMing system, this one also makes use of character sheets to keep track of a character's information related to attributes, skills and spells, equipment and other items or any other kind of data that can be useful during a roleplay event, even more so during a campaign.

A simple character sheet only needs to keep track of the following seven attributes: Strength, Intelligence, Willpower, Agility, Speed, Endurance and Personality. Each of these attributes can take from 1 to 20 points and the total amount of points that can be used (without any modifiers directly affecting attributes) is 75-80 for a skilled character beginning their roleplaying life now, 70-75 for a rookie character that also begins now. Characters with roleplay experience can go beyond 80 points, but players shouldn't overdo it.

For more information on attributes and the skills they govern, you can check Appendix I at the end of this document.

Beyond that, it may also be a good idea to keep track of (a) gear and other items, (b) skills and spells and (c) other traits and perks, the whole lot of which can also buff (or debuff) these attributes further or provide other bonuses. The seven attributes mentioned above are what matters most, since their ranks are used to determine the success or failure of a character's action, if dice are needed to be used.

In Appendix III (not available yet), you will find samples of character sheets of different complexity levels to suit your needs.
