Mending a Broken Soul

Backstory

Not so long ago, the company confronted an undead dragon who could instantly shout mortals to death. To counter that deadly shout, the battlemage Rabirranirr raised a strong magic ward with the help of other mages present in the field at the time. When the dragon tried to use its terrible skill, the ward took the brunt of the attack and kept everyone behind it alive. It did impact the battlemage though, who collapsed on the ground unconscious and has remained so ever since.

The company has been looking for a way to revive Rabirranirr, but healers have failed to come up with a solution. However, an unexpected acquaintance seems to have a plan that requires outside help. What the plan is remains unknown to most within the company. For the curious and courageous enough, speaking to Not-A-Leader Tahba might give a hint or a dozen about the matter at hand.

Something that can be said beforehand is that it's not going to be a pleasant experience...

Where is that Not-A-Leader
and why is she called that way?

Tahba, the Not-A-Leader of this old and mysterious company of dragon hunters, can be found either inside or outside Jode's Light or on the road from there to Dune or back, in Reaper's March, Elsweyr, depending on who you ask.

As for why she is called Not-A-Leader, when she is clearly the leader of that company, it's best not to ask her of all the people. If you value your skin, fur or scales, that is. If you don't, go ahead. Don't say you weren't warned though!

A much needed
Out-Of-Character explanation

Tahba is called Not-A-Leader by most of her companions, for the simple reason that she refuses to claim the title of the leader despite the fact that the others often look out to her for guidance. Why does she refuse the title? She simply thinks that the company has no need of a leader and most issues can be resolved collectively.

Now, in regards to Tahba's mysterious location, it's not precise because she is currently involved in another event that requires her to be inside and around Jode's Light and, at some point, to travel to the city of Dune.

She is definitely the character to go to, in order to get a detailed In-Character account about what happened to battlemage Rabirranirr, her current situation, the company's thoughts and possible plans about her revival. She is in no place, however, to give any details about the event proper because she has no idea what plan exactly is going to be put in motion.

Useful notes

This page now contains only the barebones of this event and will be updated with more information, soon after the current event (involving Tahba) ends and the basic In-Character information has begun to spread through improvised roleplay meetings and the well known and not always to be trusted rumour mill.
